<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the return of a sludge liquid component to a desulfurizer by providing an apparatus constituted so that sulfur dioxide in exhaust gas is absorbed into a slurry and the slurry after contact is subjected to solid-liquid separation treatment to produce gypsum as a byproduct and a means subjecting sludge generated in a waste water treatment apparatus to solid-liquid separation treatment independently of the slurry after contact. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas treatment system is equipped with a desulfurizer composed of an absorbing tower 1 and a waste water treatment apparatus 20. In the desulfurizer, an absorbent slurry having sulfur dioxide gas absorbed thereinto by stirring the slurry in the tank 2 of the absorbing column 1 is efficiently brought into contact with air C and all of sulfur dioxide is oxidized to obtain gypsum. In this case, a belt filter 30 subjecting the slurry drawn out of the absorbing column 1 to solid-liquid separation treatment and a belt filter 40 (solid-liquid separation means) for independently subjecting the sludge D led out of the waste water treatment apparatus 20 to solid-liquid separation treatment are provided. The solid (gypsum and slight impurities) separated by the belt filters 30, 40 is fed by a belt conveyor 50 to be collectively obtained as gypsum E.</p> |
