<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the expansive and contractive speed of a piston rod irrespective of the pressure of compressed air to be supplied. SOLUTION: This air cylinder controller is provided with an exhaust valve 34 with a changeover position (c) discharging exhaust air out of an air cylinder 14 via an air dryer 8 and another changeover position (d) directly discharging the air without passing through this air dryer 8, and also a pressure switch 40 selecting this exhaust valve 34 to the changeover position (c) when the inside of an air tank 12 is in high pressure but to the changeover position (d) when the tank is in low pressure. Therefore, when a piston rod 14C is extended or contracted in a state that the inside of this air tank 12 is in high pressure, the exhaust air is gradually discharged by resistance by the air dryer 8, so that any sudden extension or contraction in the piston rod 14C is preventable from occurring, and further, in a state that the inside of the air tank 12 is in low pressure, the exhaust air is directly discharged out without passing through the air dryer 8 and thereby even low compressed air is able to quickly expand or contract the piston rod 14C.</p> |
