<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suit a putter head to a personal habit or the like by providing the inside of the head of a putter with an angle adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: The block part 2 of a shaft 1 is reducedly inserted into the recessed part 27 of the head 6 of a putter through the upper surface of the head 6. The cutout part 3 is restored by its elasticity to its initial state, and the block part 2 is expanded inside the recessed part 27, so that it becomes hardly being taken out from the head 6. An adjusting screw 10 is screwed into the screw hole 4 of the block part 2 through a screw inserting hole 8. Thereby, the cutout part 3 of the block part 2 is expanded so that the outer circumferential surface of the block part 2 is frictionally abutted on the inner circumferential surface of the recessed part 27. At the same time, the block part 2 is fixed by the adjusting screw 10. At the time of fixing, the angle of the shaft 1 is adjusted to suit the habit and taste of a golfer, and then it is fixed. Thus, a putter suitable for the taste of the golfer can be obtained.</p> |
