The method connecting a portable terminal to a fixed station in a cordless telephone network system having the fixed station and the portable terminal, comprises the steps of: searching the fixed station most adjacent to the portable terminal in a standby state thereof; generating a random number using the number of the searched fixed station and an inherent number of the terminal, in case that there is two or more the fixed stations having the identical reception strength in the above searching step; selecting the fixed station corresponding to the random number generated in the above generating step; registrating it to the selected fixed station; and performing a connection of a speech path connection and a release thereof by one signal of a paging signal and a connection request signal of an operator, if the registration is completed. |
