Sound insulating wall panel

The panel is formed as a U-section profile in which the face of the panel has perforations on at least part of the surface. A layer of absorbent material is positioned between the legs of the cross section. The panel has an exterior layer of bituminous material mounted on the upper face of the panel. The layer of sound absorbent material can be sealingly fixed, by its longitudinal side edges (6) overlapping the panel. The layer is on the surface of the panel and-or on the legs (4) of the legs of the profile.
