<p>In laminated glazing (1) comprising two glass sheets (2,3) and an interposed sheet (7), the novelty is that (a) the surface area of one of the glass sheets is less than that of the other; (b) the edges of the two glass sheets are flush over at least part of the periphery; and (c) the edge of the glass sheet of smaller surface area does not extend beyond the larger area glass sheet at any point. Also claimed is a process for mfg. the above glazing in which, during the trimming step, the interposed sheet (7) is cut to the dimensions of the largest glass sheet.</p> |
