The invention concerns a housing for a sound absorber which can be connected to a compressor and in whose inlet and outlet sections sound-absorbing parts are disposed. The sound-absorbing parts can be introduced irrespective of the size of the sound absorber connection apertures since the housing comprises two halves (1, 2) which can be interconnected and in each of which adjacent semicircular ducts (3, 4) are formed. The sound-absorbing parts can be inserted into these ducts (3, 4) before the housing halves (1 and 2) are assembled. |
