The tool consists of a feeder (13, 14) for the end of a tie wire (L), a driven rotor (35) with two holes (39, 40) for twisting the ends of the wire, and a cutter (27) behind one of the rotor's holes to cut off the length of wire after twisting. The tool drive (4) is connected by a transmission (6, 7, 37, 38) to the wire feed, twister and cutter, so that they are operated in sequence once the hook-shaped jaw (18) has been closed round the vine stem and trellis wire. |
