The shell of the chin support and the locating base are not made of one piece and the kind of extension over the edge of the instrument can be altered by a special screw connection. The ergonomic shape of the chin support is variable through the combination of holding shell and a cushion filled with viscous gel, so that the anatomical complete matching is guaranteed corresponding to the holding movement of the musician.
