<p>A method for adhering a bicomponent polyurethane surface (PU) to a polymeric substrate having a degree of surface moisture, wherein a resin comprising a polyol and a diisocyanate is placed on the substrate and pressed, is disclosed. The method is characterised in that it comprises using a catalyst selected from tertiary amines and capable of simultaneously catalysing both the reaction between the polyol and the diisocyanate for forming the PU and the reaction between the surface moisture and the diisocyanate for converting the water molecules into polyurea. Smart card structures produced according to the method are also disclosed.</p> |
