FIELD: plastic working of metals, in particular, working tool for applying patterns to metal articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying pattern 2 to substrate 1 made from soft metal, with pattern 2 being preliminarily secured to template 5 by soldering; positioning template 4 with pattern onto stand; conducting electrochemical treatment of matrices and punches. Method allows production costs to be reduced by 3-4 times and efficiency to be increased by 10-15 times.
