<p>High capacity drug reservoirs are provided for incorporation into transdermal drug delivery systems. The drug reservoirs are comprised of a superabsorbent material, typically a cross-linked polymer, which is capable of absorbing an amount of drug formulation corresponding to at least 15 grams formulation per gram of material. Methods for making and using transdermal systems containing such reservoirs are provided as well.</p> |
