Sealed alkaline chemical source of electric energy, using a casing, cover, gasket, anode, cathode, electrolyte, separator, auxiliary electrode made of porous material, located on the casing bottom, features by the fact that a hydrophobic layer is positioned between the auxiliary electrode and main electrodes of the source of electric energy; the opposite surface of the auxiliary electrode is in an electric contact with the casing, porosity of the auxiliary electrode makes up 62 to 85%, and its structure represents intersecting "coarse" and "fine" pores; the size of "coarse" pores makes up 20 to 500 um, and that of "fine" pores - 1 to 20 um, and the surface of "coarse" pores is hydrophobic. 2. Sealed alkaline chemical source of electric energy as per item 1 features by the fact that the hydrophobic layer is made of polyvinyltrimethylsilane, 0.1 to 0.5 nm thick. 3. Sealed alkaline chemical source of electric energy as per item 1 features by the fact that the hydrophobic layer is applied onto the surface of the auxiliary electrode. 4. Sealed alkaline chemical source of electric energy as per item 1 features by the fact that the relation between the volumes of "coarse" and "fine" pores makes up 1.0 to 10.0.
