Filling machine for viscous product into squat containers

The filling machine has a support for the container which rotates the container about a vertical axis. The filling nozzle is positioned to fill the product evenly into the container without trapped air pockets around the inner edge, and with the rotation below the level at which the product would be thrown out by centrifugal force. The filling process is between 17 and 25 deg. C., being the normal temperature at which the product is to be used. The filling rate and the rotation rate of the container are determined empirically in relation to the shape of the container, the viscosity of the product to achieve a level fill of the container.
