FIELD: dairy plants. SUBSTANCE: method of drying casein is based on heat treatment of raw casein in ultra-high frequency furnace where drying is effected due to interaction of casein with multimode electromagnetic wave, type H.. Ultra-high frequency furnace for drying casein makes it possible to tread large amount of raw casein (several tons per day). Power requirement for obtaining 1 kg of dry casein does not exceed 250 W per hour. Conveyer belt running through ultra-high frequency furnace is made in form of moving part of wide metal walls of waveguides which are components of furnace; that is why, large amount of raw casein may be treated simultaneously which is necessary for proper operation of dairy plant. EFFECT: reduced power requirements, enhanced efficiency and reliability. |
