Enzyme reactor for fermentation processes

Enzyme reactor for enzymatic reactions comprises a porous ceramic through which the reaction medium flows. The enzymes are spatially immobilised within the pores without the formation of chemical bonds. The porous ceramic is covered on both sides in the direction of flow of the reaction medium with a ceramic ultra- or nano-filtration membrane.
