A free-flowing solid mixt. of CaF2/CaSO4 and NH3 is prepd. from separate solns. of NH4F and (NH4)2SO4 by (a) combining the two solns., (b) adding more than the stoichiometric amt. of a Ca(OH)2 suspension, (c) filtering off the solid formed and neutralising with mineral acid and (d) separating by filtration and (e) comminution.
