Liquid insecticidal preparation for heat fumigation and method for killing insects by heat fumigation

Liq. insecticidal prepn. for heat fumigation comprises (a) 0.1-15 wt.% of a pyrethroid cpd.; (b) 0.3-10 wt.% of an isopropyl ester of a higher fatty acid or dibutyl phthalate, on the basis of the total prepn.; and (c) satd. hydrocarbons with b.pt. of 180-310 deg C. Also claimed is a method for killing insects by heat fumigation, and the use of a higher fatty acid or dibutyl phthalate as an anti-clogging agent for an absorptive wick for heat fumigation.
