摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve startability in a state where fuel, pressure is decreased, and also to improve startability in a state where the engine temperature of an internal combustion engine is low, in a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine in which fuel is to be directly supplied into cylinders. SOLUTION: An ECU 60 outputs a command signal to an inverter 33 so that a motor generator 30 may be rotated at the rotation higher than the rotation in the normal starting, when it judges that fuel pressure in delivery pipes 18 detected by a fuel pressure sensor 42 is lower than the specified pressure. The inverter 33 forms the rotational magnetic field by which the determined number of revolutions of cranking is realized, a flywheel 25 is rotated by the rotational magnetic field, and a crank shaft 13 is rotated at high speed. As a result, a high-pressure pump 19 is driven at high speed, the fuel pressure in the delivery pipes 18 is quickly boosted, fuel is sprayed into a combustion chamber 12 by an injector 17 in the suitable fuel injection state, and sprayed fuel is quickly ignited, so as to smoothly start an engine 10.
