PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation in the accuracy of the impact positions of ink even in the case there is some ruggedness on a substrate by setting the posture of ink jet heads in such a manner that the discharge direction of the ink is held perpendicular to the substrate. SOLUTION: The bodies 123 of the ink jet heads are provided with mounting surfaces 123a inclined at 10 deg. to a perpendicular line. The ink jet heads 120a to 120c are mounted at these mounting surfaces 123a. These heads are inclined at 10 deg. to the perpendicular line. As a result, ink discharge nozzles are held perpendicular to the glass substrate 1 and even if the distance between the glass substrate 1 and the ink jet heads 120a to 120c changes, the degradation in the accuracy of the impact positions of the ink is prevented. While the inclination of the discharge nozzles to the ink jet head bodies 123 is 10 deg., the inclination of the discharge nozzles is correctable if within 20 deg.. |
