<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow stable tracking control by controlling the loop gain of an ATF servo system to be at a prescribed level. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 5 samples the ATF errors outputted from an ATF circuit 4 and generate a gain control signal. This time, the difference between the level deviated to a maximum limit in the plus direction and that in the minus direction in the ATF errors is determined to produce a gain control signal in accordance with it. This gain control signal is converted to an analog signal by a D/A conversion circuit 6 to control the gain of a gain control amplifier 14 in the ATF circuit 4. By this, the loop gain of the ATF servo system can be controlled at a specified level to allow stable tracking control.</p> |
