<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic film having excellent antistatic property even at a low temperature and excellent in adhesiveness, film-recovering property and heat resistance by applying an aqueous coating liquid containing a specific antistatic (co)polymer to a polyester film, drying the liquid and drawing the film. SOLUTION: An aqueous coating liquid containing a (co)polymer comprising a unit of formula I and/or II (R<1> and R<2> are each H or methyl; R<3> is a 2-10C alkylene; R<4> to R<6> are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; X is a halogen, NO3 , etc.; R<7> and R<8> are each H or methyl) is applied to at least one face of a polyester film (preferably polyethylene terephthalate film or polyethylene 2,6-naphthalate film) and the coating liquid is dried and the film is drawn. A copolymer composed of 4-60mol% unit of formula I and/or II and 40-96mol% unit of formula III (Y is H, an aryl, etc.) is preferably used as the (co)polymer, because the copolymer is excellent in antistatic property and can provide a coating film excellent in adhesiveness to ink, etc.</p> |
