PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which is curable with active energy rays, giving a plastic molded product of low polymerization shrinkage, high modules of elasticity, excellent shock resistance and elongation by casting photopolymerization by using a diol having carbonate bonsds in the main chain in combination. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 30-80 pts.wt. of a compound bearing one or more epoxy groups in its molecule, (B)20-7 pts.wt. of a corbonate diol of formula I (R<1> is a 2-30C hydrocarbon; n is 1-50), (C) 0.05-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component A and the component B, of a catalyst sensitive to active energy rays of formula II (R<2> is H, methyl, ethyl, -OCH2 CH2 OH; X is antimony, phosphorus; F is fluorine), preferably (D) 0.1-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the omponents A and B, of an inorganic filler. It is preferred that 3, 4- epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3, 4-epoxycyclohexylcarboxylate is used as a component A, while titanium oxide is as a component D. |
