PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the penetration of air into an ink cartridge from an ink supply port and reduce defective printing by successively releasing the sealing of an atmosphere communication port and that of the ink supply port by a seal material in that order in an ink cartridge. SOLUTION: A seal tape 61 is wound around the housing 51 of an ink cartridge so as to seal an ink supply port 53 and an atmosphere communication port 55 in this order to go round the housing 51 and the terminal of the seal tape 61 is laminated to the start end thereof. As a result, by peeling the seal tape 61, sealing is released in the order of the atmosphere communication port 55 and the ink supply port 53. |
