<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared sensor which has a high sensitivity and resolution, is compact and less expensive, and has a high reproducibility. SOLUTION: A infrared sensor has a pyroelectric sensor for sensing infrared rays, a sensor substrate 3 for retaining the pyroelectric sensor, a rotary base 4 for supporting the sensor substrate 3, and a power source 6 for rotating and operating the pyroelectric sensor, the sensor substrate 3, and the rotary base 4 and the power source 6 rotates and operates the pyroelectric sensor and the rotary base 4 in one body. Furthermore, it has mounting bases 5(5a-5c) and the mounting based 5 serves as a heat shut-off panel for shutting off heat from the power source 6.</p> |
