PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device to prevent generation of the deformation such as distortion in suction into a sucking part without reducing the sucking force when a work to be carried is sucked in a suction device to suck the work to be carried in a carrying device. SOLUTION: A metallic sintered article 10 which has small holes in its surface and is permeable is provided on a sucking part of a carrying arm 12 to suck an image display surface of a crystal display device 13, a surface of the metallic sintered article 10 and the surface of the carrying arm 12 in the periphery of the metallic sintered article 10 are formed flush with each other and having their surface roughness of 10μm, and suction is achieved by correctly overlapping the image display surface of the crystal display device 13 on their surface.
