<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulation switchgear which can be finished uniformly and has a high reliability by forming a branch section of a metallic container in such a structure as to be suitable for automatic welding. SOLUTION: A main barrel side flange 3 is welded to an end of a main barrel circular pipe 1 and a branch side flange 4 is welded to an end of a branch circular pipe 2. In the main barrel circular pipe 1, a branch section X is formed in a direction vertical to a longitudinal axis of the main barrel circular pipe 1. At an end of the branch section X, an opening having the same inner diameter as an inner diameter D2 of the branch circular pipe 2 is made. The opening might be parallel to the longitudinal axis direction of the main barrel circular pipe 1. By welding one end of the branch circular pipe 2 to the opening by an automatic welding equipment, the branch circular pipe 2 is branch-connected to the main barrel circular pipe 1. A welding line A for manufacturing a circular pipe of the main barrel circular pipe 1 and a welding line B for manufacturing a circular pipe of the branch circular pipe 2 are in the longitudinal direction of each circular pipe.</p> |
