The invention relates to a process for dyeing wool-containing fibre materials with anionic dyes, which comprises dyeing said materials in the presence of a wool protective agent containing at least one compound of formula <IMAGE> (1) or <IMAGE> (1') wherein the variables are as claimed in the claims. Rubfast level dyeings with no impairment of wool quality are obtainable by said process.
