PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reproduction without being influenced by adjacent marks even in the case of large recording density and to suppress required max. recording power. SOLUTION: Reproducing operation is carried out without being influenced by the adjacent marks even when recording density is increased by setting a numerical aperture NA of an objective lens 9 at the recording time and also at the reproducing time to 0.50±0.02 and converging a spot into a small diameter at the reproducing time. Moreover, by using a phase transition type optical recording medium 2 comprising at least Ag, In, Sb and Te for main components of a recording layer material as the optical information recording medium, recording sensitivity is improved, and the max. power required optimally at the recording time is diminished. |
