PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode plate for a storage battery with less dispersion of battery capacity and capable of quick charging/discharging by vapor depositing nickel on a resin film, applying active material paste thereon, drying the paste, then piling up on a punched nickel plated steel plate. SOLUTION: A vapor deposition layer 8 is formed on each side of a resin film 7 by metal nickel vapor deposition. Active material paste is applied to each surface of the vapor deposition layer 8, and dried to form an elemental active material hoop 6. A punched nickel plated steel plate 4-1 with burrs is arranged in the central part, and a plurality of the elemental active material hoops 6 are stacked on each side of the nickel plated steel plate 4-1 to form a positive electrode plate for a nickel system storage battery. Since the active material is uniformly applied to the nickel vapor deposition layer of the resin film, the dispersion of the reaction amount of the active material is retarded, and flow of high current is made possible. |
