FIELD: knitting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is designed for making elastic belts with pico or small loops extending along its edges. Belts are made thin, with linear density of eight, in particular, twelve needles per each centimeter of width of machine, and even more, when required. Pile may be arranged in certain pattern and may be made at one or both sides of belt. Apparatus has tambour needles, laying mechanism for supplying groups of threads possessing rubber-like elasticity and laying mechanism for supplying groups of core threads. Mechanism for laying and supplying of filling thread is positioned in front of threads with rubber-like elasticity. Rear mechanism for laying of filling threads is positioned behind threads with rubber-like elasticity. To produce superthin belt, apparatus is provided with more than eight, particularly, twelve members for tambour knitting per each centimeter of width of machine. Pile is produced before and/or behind threads with rubber-like elasticity by means of laying mechanism with sets of latch needles for filling threads. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. |
