PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anticorrosion of a bearing and to improve durability without remarkably changing the structure of a connecting rod supporting part and without increasing cost. SOLUTION: In a connecting rod supporting part structure for rotatably supporting the end part of the connecting rod of an engine for a ship screw propeller through a bearing, the holder 21 of the bearing 20 or at least one surface of a crank pin is covered with an insulator such as a resin coating layer. Or metal plating such as Sn plating and Zn plating whose electric potential are lower than a needle 22 is carried out on the holder 21 of the bearing 20 or on at least one surface of the crank pin. Electrolytic corrosion is not generated between the holder 21 of the bearing 20 or the crank pin and the needle 22, or the metal plating which is a low electric potential is invaded so as to prevent corrosion of the needle 22, and thereby, a purpose is achieved. |
