DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COORDINATE INPUT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device which can precisely calculate a coordinate position through two vibration sensors and to provide a method for the device. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with the two vibration sensors 6a and 6b which drive and control the vibration generation of an input pen 3 in at least two kinds of mode and detect vibrations from an input pen 3. Distances from the input position of the input pen 3 are calculated by the vibration sensors 6a and 6b and by the vibrations of the modes according to the time when the vibrations of the modes reach the sensors. Then the differences between the distances calculated by the vibrations of the modes are calculated by the vibration sensors 6a and 6b.
