摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unnecessary syntax tree generation by eliminating ambiguousness from a syntax analysis of phrase combination. SOLUTION: This Japanese language processing system which executes a morpheme analysis, a syntax analysis, and a sematic analysis of a Japanese sentence in order determines a center phrase coupler (S2) when deciding that there is a sentence consisting of a plural phrases during the syntax analysis from a rule for phrase combination (S1), determines the sematic relation between the phrases before and behind the phrase coupler to generate a syntax tree (S3), and generates or discarded the syntax tree by checking the scope and coupling force of an auxiliary verb representing a phrase for the sematic relation (S4) and generates or discards the syntax tree by checking whether the coupling force of the phrase coupler is large or small unless it can not be determined whether the syntax tree is generated or discarded on the basis of the sematic relation or the scope of the auxiliary verb.
