PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation device whereby the visibility of a screen is not reduced and also lots of information is obtained. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a traffic information receiving means 103 receiving traffic information and a jam degree correspondence road display form control means 107 whichdisplays a jam display line along a jammed road on a road map displayed in a display means 106 based on traffic information received by the means 103 and changes the display form of the road such as the display color and display width, etc., of the road on the display screen when the number of links adding the jammed place is more than a prescribed value.
