The method of confirming an error message retransmission of a facsimile machine includes the steps of: requesting a voice communication by transmitting a user call signal (PRI-Q) after completing a transmission up to a final page to a receiving party, if a ready for a receiving signal (RTN) is transmitted from the receiving party due to a dissipation of data during plural sheets of documents are transmitted to the receiving party in communication sequence; receiving the user call signal from the transmitting party to transmit message of the page corresponding to the dissipated data in a voice in response of the received signal; and confirming a reception sate of the page transmitted by the voice communication with the receiving party to retransmit the corresponding page.
