PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet provided with a specular highly glossy surface and having superior ink absorbability, water resistance and recording clarity. SOLUTION: A layer coated with a coating material containing a pigment and an electron radiation curing type resin in the range of weight ratio of 95/5-70/30 and dried thereon is formed between a smooth molded surface and a sheet-shaped substrate, and the electron radiation is emitted in the state that the layer is pressed to the smooth molded surface to form an ink receptive layer, and the layer is released from the molded surface. The pigment contains at least one kind of pigments selected out of non-crystalline silica, alumina and pseudo-boemite, and electron radiation cured type resin contains the electron radiation curing type resin of aqueous emulsion type. |
