PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording body of high resolution, clear, and of superior image stability in which different light intensity is displayed between magnetized sections and unmagnetized sections and the reversible display and color display can be provided. SOLUTION: In a magnetic recording body 1, at least flake-shaped magnetic particles, a coloring agent and dispersion mediums representing the solid phase state at the normal temperature, in which the above-said particles and the coloring agent are dispersed, and having different melting points for respective colors of the coloring agent are contained on a substrate 11 composed of a non-magnetic material, and a magnetic recording layer 12 in which microcapsules of two kinds or more representing different color phases are dispersed in a binder is formed. The dispersion mediums are melted in order of decreasing melting points by heating the magnetic recording layer 12, and the flake-shaped magnetic particles are oriented by applying magnetism in the horizontal or vertical direction, and images corresponding to respective colors of microcapsules are recorded. |
