<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit unit which can sufficiently prolong the life of a battery by carrying on voltage boosting operation and constant voltage and current output even after a source (battery) voltage drops almost to or below a stop voltage, and a microprocessor which has the power circuit unit incorporated SOLUTION: The power circuit unit which has a clock generating circuit 13, a 1st boosting circuit 10, and a constant voltage circuit 11 is provided with a 2nd triple boosting circuit 26, whose output voltage VTR is used as the voltage for controlling the 1st boosting circuit 10. Consequently, the device can be actuated with a lower voltage and even if the operating voltage drops below the actuation voltage, boosting operation is carried on to improve the load driving capability.</p> |
