<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly and delicately adjust the shaft properties in the intermediate part of a golf club shaft which consists of a hollow pipe made of fiber reinforced plastics and has at least one build-up parts in the intermediate part. SOLUTION: The build-up parts are formed by machining the surface part of the hollow pipe made of the fiber reinforced plastics. The front end change point and rear end change point in the outside radius distribution line of the shaft and one or plural intermediate change points existing between these two change points are included in the build-up parts. The maximal point of the pipe wall thickness in the build-up parts exists between the front end change point and the rear end change point. The intermediate part in the inside radius distribution line of the shaft have a positive gradient and both ends thereof have a zero or positive gradient.</p> |
