PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight step member with excellent durability which is to be installed on a mountain road, etc., by forming the step member from a synthetic resin in such a structure that as if natural logs were assembled at two stages and the inside is left hollow and reinforced with ribs. SOLUTION: A step member 1 is formed in a integral piece from a synthetic resin in such a structure that as if natural logs were assembled at two stages and the inside is left hollow and provided with reinforcing ribs protrusively, wherein the outside surface is equipped with a akin pattern like bark. The two side plates 2 of this step member 1 are equipped with an annual ring pattern of tree so that a shape is generated as if two natural logs were used in a set. A pluraility of such step members 1 are installed at a specified spacing with the aid of pile 5 on a steep slope such as a mountain road so that stairs are formed. This assumes an appearance like natural logs so that the landscape of the nature is not impaired. The material used may be thermoplastic resin, thermo-hardening synthetic resin, and/or these industrial waste thereof. Thereby a step member 1 can be obtained, which is light in the weight, excellent in easiness of executing works, and has good durability. |
