PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lock mechanism to be inspected without attaching webbing to a webbing rewinder, while contributing to the automation of inspection. SOLUTION: The present invertion is related to an acceleration inspector 10 provided with a clamp part for holding a webbing rewinder 28 on the way of manufacture, an air cylinder 24 for generating acceleration of a specified value to the rewinder 28 and a pinion gear 16 and rack 18 connected to a rewinding shaft 32 for detecting the rotational quantity of the rewinding shaft 32. A rewinder 28 on the way of manufacture is fixed to the clamp part 30. The moving quantity of the rack 18 until the rewinding shaft 32 is locked by an inertia lock mechanism by means of a sensor 20 during action of acceleration. As the inspection can be carried out on the way of manufacturing the rewinder 28, there may be no requirement to transfer the product to a different line after the end of manufacture, the process for inspection is simplified. Also, since the mechanization of automatically mounting the rewinder 28 to a clamp part becomes possible so that the inspector 10 of the rewinder 28 may be reduced in its size. |
