<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating an org. waste water by an activated sludge process capable of treating constantly and stably a large bulk of waste water without causing bulking. SOLUTION: At the time of biologically treating the org. waste water by shifting the water from a first aeration tank to a succeeding aeration tank successively in aeration tanks constituted by connecting at least two or more aeration tanks to each other in series, the waste water is treated so that BOD may be gradually reduced as the water is shifted from the first aeration tank to the succeeding aeration tank.</p> |
