PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good gradation expression by simple constitution by forming at least two gradation data from multi-gradation image data and performing printing on the basis of the data by a dot printer. SOLUTION: A desired image is read from HDD 7 being a hard disk by the command from KBD 3 being a keyboard to be inputted to an original picture buffer 5 and 256 gradation data of RGB are converted to data wherein respective dots are composed of neutral, weak and strong with respect to three- value data of YMC, that is, respective colors. The data of the original picture buffer 5 by RGB multi-values is converted to intensity determined, for example, so that time first row is strong and the second row is weak to be stored. That is, four data are determined so as to be strong, strong, weak and weak to be converted to 9 gradations to be inputted to a printing buffer 8. This data is printed by a printer 12. As a result, it is unnecessary to control output at every individual nozzle. |
