PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the brightness of a fluorescent tube used for illumination, and level the dispersion of the brightness of the fluorescent tube in an axial direction. SOLUTION: Regarding a lighting system 10 with fluorescent tubes 12 laid within a cover 18, air tubes 20 are laid in parallel to the fluorescent tubes 12 in the cover 18, and the air is blown to the fluorescent tubes 12 for the cooling thereof from air blow holes 20A to 20I formed at the pertinent axial positions of the air tubes 20, thereby enhancing and stabilizing the brightness of the whole of the fluorescent tubes 12. At the same time, an air flow/rate is increased in the neighborhood of the tube ends of the fluorescent tubes 12, regarding the air blow holes 20A to 20I. The tube ends liable to increase in temperature over other parts are thereby strongly cooled and the dispersion of the brightness of the fluorescent tubes 12 is levelled along an axial direction. |
