PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ink accepting property, transferability, and stability with time of printing performance at the time of repeating printing by coating a surface of a blanket of an offset printing device with a water repellent agent. SOLUTION: A water repelling agent supply coating device 8 is slid on a water repelling agent coat surface plate 2 so as to expand a water repelling agent uniformly. A blanket 5 is lowered to an intermediate point between a work surface plate 1 and the water repelling agent coat surface plate 2 and turned to the left. Thus, the surface of the blanket 5 is coated with the water repelling agent uniformly. The blanket 5 is turned to the left as it is, made to receive an ink 11 of an intaglio 10 through the water repelling agent, and raised at the left end of the intaglio 10. Next, it is moved to the right end of the work surface plate 1 and lowered, made to come into contact with the work surface plate 1, and slid to the left. Thus, the ink 11 on the surface of the blanket 5 is transferred to the surface of the work surface plate 9 together with the water repelling agent, so that one printing operation is completed. |
