摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dehydrogenation catalyst having high activity and high selectivity and especially ensuring a much lower rate of deterioration than the conventional catalyst. SOLUTION: Platinum and tin are carried on a combined carrier obtd. by carrying 5-50wt.% zinc oxide on a &gamma;-alumina carrier having >=150m<2> /g surface area, >=0.55cm<3> /g pore volume and 90-200&angst; average pore diameter. In the alumina carrier, pores each having 90-200&angst; pore diameter account for >=60% of the total pore volume.
