PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which correctly detects the position of a measurement pattern and composes a high definition image. SOLUTION: Laser beams emitted by a laser diode 271 are made into a beam of parallel light by a collimator lens 272, and it is linearly condensed by a reflecting cylinder mirror 273. This linearly condensed light is emitted to a measurement line pattern, and a photoreception sensor 274 receives its reflected light. This photoreception signal is analyzed, and the timing of the transfer of development images composing a color image is adjusted. By using the pattern position detection part, information on different colors constituting the color image is written onto corresponding photoreceptors, each information is developed, a measurement pattern image is formed for each different color onto a transfer belt 21 or transfer paper, and the position of each is measured. Thus, color slippage which easily occurs during the transfer of the color image is efficiently corrected. |
