The facsimile, which has standby mode, copy mode, transmission mode and reception mode, is characterized by comprising: a motor controlled by a microprocessor unit; a swing gear receiving dynamic force transferred from the motor; a cam receiving the rotation dynamic force transferred from the swing gear according to the rotation direction of the swing gear; a roller receiving the rotation dynamic force receiving the rotation dynamic force transferred from the swing gear according to the rotation direction of the swing gear; and a mode sensor transferring the present rotation position of the cam to the microprocessor unit by judging the rotation position of the cam.
