The invention relates to an apparatus with pivot function in whicn the object is fixed for realising rotational movements towards arrest means. Employing loose fittings which are held together by objects with free arrest heels constitutes a time-consuming assembly operation and also a risk of pinch or crush injuries. The present invention solves these problems by an apparatus, which, anchored between two fixed, here designated end pieces (9), forms a fitting. With this apparatus, it is possible using manual force to rotate objects between built-in arrest means (1). Fitted with a drive member (5), the object may be balanced or alternatively automatically reciprocate. The present invention is essentially employed as a hinge for tables, chairs and doors. |
